Purpose of Sarah Anne Adoption Agency
This agency was started because of Anne’s adoption story. Anne has a
heart to make sure that adoptees feel a connection in the community they live in.
Anne’s heart is first and foremost for the adoptees, working to facilitate a deep
connection for adoptees with their communities, however that looks for each adoptee.
Helping the birth parents make a positive decision for their child, leaving no regrets for the child’s future as well as their own, is the second most important desire she has.
Finally, Anne wants to remove any roadblocks to counseling services, making counseling available to the adoptee, birth parents and adoptive families as needed throughout life.
Studies have shown that adoptees struggle over time, deeply missing the presence of family members they relate to emotionally, circumstantially, and even physically. They often come to struggle to believe that they fit in, sometimes with their adoptive families, their school, peers, or even within their workplace. This can cause anxiety and depression, resulting in need of help that the adoptive family may not be suited to provide on their own. It is Anne’s desire to walk alongside the adoption triad as they navigate this world of adoption and the journey it presents for everyone.
